TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!
I had an amazing dinner party last night with friends, and the weather gods decided even to bless us with lovely weather in the evening so we could eat outside by candlelight, and even more beautiful skies today. The six pizzas I made yesterday from scratch turned out great, and everyone else brought along delicious vegetarian dishes, too. When I woke up from my nap this afternoon I got a text from Isabel asking if I’d like to meet her at Ici, so I put on a sundress and walked over there and got a double-scoop (vanilla and oatmeal chocolate-chip), and we ate in the sunshine before walking home. PERFECT.
